Somehow I thought of videoblogging as video diaries - seeing people speak straight into their webcam about their life. But this panel placed a big emphasis on collaborative video making: passing videos between people, using postal mail for projects, and using tags and technologies of distribution so people can find each other. The internet seems less lonely after this!
It's funny - I think videos are hard to make - they so often end up seeming like commercials. Anything put on video is an endorsement. I plan to watch a vocabulary to articulate personal honesty in video emerge as people continue videoblogging.

I had a great time on this panel. I really believe videoblogging and the sharing and grassroots media that go along with it can change the world! -Bre http://imakethings.com and http://wearethemedia.com
