There will be plenty of street closures the weekend of WZ. Public transportation is your best bet! Please note that the J-Church will be rerouted; no specifics are available at this time. Parking info is below, if you're still feeling bold. Allow yourself plenty of time to get where you're going. I have not referenced the parking garages listed at the bottom w/ the street closures.
SATURDAY
War protest -- noon
Protesters will gather at Dolores Park between 18th and 20th streets and head north on Dolores to 16th street, west to Church Street, north to Market Street and northeast to Van Ness Avenue. From there, marchers will head west on Turk Street to Jefferson Square for a rally.
Love Parade -- 1 p.m.
The event begins with an hourlong parade starting at Market and Second streets. Street closures will be bounded by Van Ness on the west, Hyde Street on the east, McAllister? Street on the north and Hayes Street on the south. Cross traffic along the parade route will be permitted intermittently. The celebration that follows at Civic Center Plaza is likely to last until 9 p.m.
Green Day concert -- 7 p.m. at SBC Park.
San Francisco Blues Festival -- gates open at 10 a.m. at Fort Mason.
SUNDAY
Folsom Street Fair -- 11 a.m.
Street closures will be from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Folsom Street will be closed between Seventh and 12th streets, and Howard and Harrison streets will be closed between Eighth and 11th streets. Most alleys in the area will also be closed for the day.
San Francisco 49ers vs. Dallas Cowboys -- 1 p.m. at Monster Park.
Blues festival -- gates open at 10 a.m.
Note: The Municipal Railway says 18 bus lines, including the 38-Geary, J-Church, 47-Van Ness and 21-Hayes, will be affected by the weekend's events.

P A R K I N G
So you're gonna bring the ol' jalopy, eh? I'm sorry to say that parking is pretty bad in the neighborhood. There is limited street parking and possibly some neighboring pay lots, but we haven't discovered them yet. This is going to be doubly compounded by the fact that there is a an antiwar rally and the Love Parade both happening on Saturday. Folsom Street Fair is on Sunday. Your best bet is to take PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION. If that's not possible, here are some of the larger parking lots that we know about. You'll need to take Muni (F/J/L/K/M lines) to Church Street station and walk one block up Market to 2174.
